Reframing Intellectual Disability to Creative Capability Workshop reflects emerging evidence of neurodiversity from the lens of biodiversity, creativity, cognitive capacity, and a healing journey. My presentation shares research, personal insights, and practical tools for emotional and mental well-being using creative health. Through a curious journey of self-healing and self-awareness, this self-discovery path is marked by research and insights that'll support the audience by providing a new understanding of the spectrum of neurodiversity, sharing a range of practical takeaways for how to support their mental health as neurodiverse individuals, and empowering a mindset shift to see the value of their neural diversity.

We all have one—a superpower that can be the secret we possess or the greatest gift to ourselves and others.

Mine is curiosity.

It led me from growing up in an impoverished home that faced food insecurity and childhood trauma to studying global health and unfolding my curiosity to exploring farming, teaching, technology, health, and creativity.

America Wins with Web3 Hackaroo

Pitched and presented a presentation in 3 hours that applied blockchain technology to solve a social impact issue.

Collaborated with six other technologists to creatively address Data Management's challenges within the Child Welfare System. As an individual with personal experience in these systems, this was an amazing opportunity to give back, share my voice, and create a solution to a systemic issue.

SXSW has become one of the largest conferences/festivals in the world, and SXSW “interactive" content forms the largest portion of the conference programming, drawing tens of thousands of techies from around the world. The technology programming at SXSW has a strong focus on how these technologies impact all aspects of society. Join us for a recap and discussion of some of the technology news, highlights, discussions, and more from SXSW 2023, moderated by Austin Forum director Jay Boisseau. This meetup will enable everyone who attended to share information and perspectives, and for everyone who attends to collectively discuss what the Austin Forum should cover in future programming.
